Daughter

Daughter

Delicate, fingers long, lineless smooth with nails of clear, clear polish
Waving, clapping, shaking hands, toss your mortar board
Somewhere over the rainbow
Have you found the meaning?
Tomorrow

The line - "toss your mortar board somewhere over the rainbow" - is beautiful. That'll stay with me all weekend.

I like it!

The first line would be stronger without the comma after "delicate". I would also make "with nails of clear, clear polish" its own line

I, too, am enchanted by the "toss your mortar board somewhere over the rainbow"--it's very effective!
